Creature · ICARUS 3.0.26 · Week 248
Stocky, low to the ground, and armored with jagged dorsal spines, the Skulk is a predator built for ambush in the frozen wastes. Its dense, muscle-packed frame lets it plow through snowdrifts with surprising speed, while its thick hide shrugs off most projectiles. It hunts by sound and vibration, often lurking beneath snow until prey strays too close - then erupting upward in a flurry of claws and teeth.
Genetic analysis suggests the Skulk originated from an early terraforming fauna program - possibly a hybrid between an armored boar and a tundra bear, later warped by long-term exposure to radiation-heavy exotics. The result is a cold-adapted apex scavenger, too stubborn to die and too mean to care.
"By the time you hear the ice crunching behind you, it's already got your leg."
Spawn weight is relative within a zone, not a percentage. Level bands are the zone's, not this creature's.
